Hello and welcome here at eMateria, your new online sanctuary for SELF empowerment!

I can hardly put into words how exciting these days are for me! As a dear friend of mine very aptly put it, eMateria is a dream-come-true soul vision of mine. It's been brewing underneath the surface for years, and I am positively thrilled to be sharing it with you now!

My work at eMateria is footed on one overarching principle: the sacred trinity of mind, body and spirit - in perfect balance.

In large parts of the Western world, there is a disproportionate focus on the mind to solve all problems. The body tends to be regarded as a machine that can be fixed like a broken car or computer. And Spirit has been misinterpreted and even banned from most of public life.

This complete and utter imbalance is also the reason Spirit features most prominently on eMateria at the moment. The body and mind sections are soon to follow, though! After all, we strive for balance, and not for a new imbalance.

To me, this sacred trinity means the following: the body is the sacred vessel that allows us to experience life on Earth. The mind is a wonderful and incredibly powerful tool that can help unlock our vast potential (or speed up our demise). And last, but certainly not least, Spirit is driving force behind it all.

Life devoid of Spirit, as so many people consciously choose to live it at the moment, is an empty life and a hard life. It is a continual fight against one's self and consequently others. It is also a fight against our natural needs and rhythms and against ageing.  It's a life full of "what ifs" and the inevitable regrets that come with those nagging questions. We can't change the fact that we are on this planet. So what's the point again in this fight?

One undeniable fact of life is that human beings have something called "free will." As the name implies, we're free to choose anything we want, good or bad. Looking at the current state of affairs in almost all walks of life, why not choose a beautiful, healthy, sustainable life? Whenever I get sucked into negativity of any kind, it helps me to take a deep breath and remember that the point of power lies in the present moment.

Even though we may have chosen to disconnect our consciousness from our spirits, Spirit is ever present and will keep poking us until we wake up. At least that's what Spirit did with me... and the result is what you see on eMateria. :-)
